Wavorly gets their name from a supposedly haunted mansion in their home state Mississippi.

“I drew a lot of inspiration from my emotional response to his [Lewis] books,” Lott explains. “As a result, we found this rock / alternative sound with a sense of mystery and deep meaning.”

After listening to the album through, I would highly recommend it to everyone. It is versatile enough that it appeals to many genres and yet it is deep and meaningful and inspiring. Listening to it I felt there was purpose behind the melodies and drive behind the percussion that was bold and subtle at the same time. I was definitely impressed with Wavorly!
